Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Iron Directive ("the App", "the Game"), developed and published by Frau LLC, a limited liability company organized in Nebraska, United States ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We don't ask you to create a player account to play.

1) Who We Are

These Terms are between you and Frau LLC, the developer and publisher of Iron Directive.

2) Eligibility / Age

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the App. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must also have permission from a parent or guardian.

Frau LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3) License to Use the App

3.1 Ownership. The App and all content, features, and functionality within it, including but not limited to all code, graphics, artwork, animations, audio, music, game mechanisms, level design, virtual items (including Intel, Boosters, and all in-game currency), user interface elements, trade dress, trademarks, and the like are and remain the exclusive property of Frau LLC. Your use of the App does not transfer to you any ownership interest in the App or any of its contents.

3.2 License Grant. Frau LLC grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only, subject to these Terms.

3.3 Restrictions. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, resell, create derivative works of the App, or otherwise commercially exploit the App or its content.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code of the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, trademarks, or labels on or within the App.
  • Use any content, graphics, artwork, or other materials from the App outside the App itself.
  • Use the Iron Directive name, logo, or any Frau LLC trademark without prior written consent.

3.4 Third-Party IP. The App integrates certain third-party services, including Apple Game Center, Google Play Games Services, and Google AdMob. All trademarks, service marks, and intellectual property associated with those services belong to their respective owners. Frau LLC’s license to you does not extend to any third-party intellectual property.

4) Gameplay Rules & Fair Play

You agree not to cheat or interfere with the App. This includes, without limitation:

  • Using automation, bots, macros, memory editors, or modified clients.
  • Exploiting bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages.
  • Attempting to bypass in-game limits (for example, booster caps per mission).

If Frau LLC reasonably believes you violated these rules, we may restrict features or suspend access.

5) Local Progress & Device Changes

The App stores most progress locally on your device. If you delete the App, reset your device, or switch devices, you may lose progress unless platform features or supported purchase-recovery features restore it.

Frau LLC is not responsible for lost progress caused by device loss, OS issues, unsupported restore scenarios, or third-party platform behavior.

6) Virtual Currency & Items (Intel / Boosters)

The App may include virtual currency and items such as Intel, boosters, lives, and supplies ("Virtual Items").

  • Virtual Items have no real-world cash value and are not redeemable for money.
  • Virtual Items are non-transferable and may not be sold or traded.
  • Frau LLC may adjust gameplay balance, item availability, or prices to keep the game fair and functional.

Virtual Items Disclaimer. Virtual Items represent a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use in-game content. Virtual Items are not sold to you; you acquire a license only. Virtual Items may be modified, rebalanced, or removed as part of App updates. Frau LLC does not guarantee that any Virtual Item, feature, or game content will remain available indefinitely. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Frau LLC makes no warranty regarding the continued availability of any Virtual Item.

7) Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and/or other supported stores. Payment processing, billing, platform-level purchase validation, and refunds are handled by the relevant platform, subject to that platform’s rules and your legal rights.

  • All purchases are generally final, except where applicable law or platform policy provides otherwise.
  • Some virtual items are consumable and may be purchased more than once. Other items may reset or become available again according to in-game timing, weekly cycles, or platform rules.
  • If a purchase succeeds but your items do not appear, contact Frau LLC through Iron Directive Support or [email protected] with your receipt details or platform order information. We may review limited purchase verification and support records to investigate the issue.
  • If a purchase is refunded, reversed, voided, or otherwise invalidated by the platform, Frau LLC may remove or claw back the related virtual items, currency, or entitlements where permitted.

EU and UK consumers. (Notwithstanding the above) If you are an EU or UK consumer, your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws are not affected by these Terms. Under EU law, you may have a right of withdrawal from purchases of digital content within 14 days, unless performance has begun with your express consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Apple and Google implement these statutory rights at the platform level. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or waive rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law.

8) Purchase Support Records

To verify purchases, investigate missing-item reports, prevent fraud or abuse, and respond to refund or void events, Frau LLC may maintain limited purchase verification and support records.

  • These records may include purchase token, order ID when available, product ID, purchase status, entitlement status, timestamps, and related technical diagnostics.
  • These records are not a player account system and are not a stored personal profile.
  • We do not store payment card numbers.

9) Rewarded Ads

The App may offer optional rewarded ads (for example via Google AdMob) where you can choose to watch an ad to earn in-game rewards. You can play without watching rewarded ads.

Availability of ads can vary by device, country, and network conditions.

10) Third-Party Services

10.1 The App may use third-party services such as:

  • Apple Game Center / GameKit (leaderboards and achievements)
  • Google Play Games Services (leaderboards and achievements where enabled)
  • Apple StoreKit (in-app purchases)
  • Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)
  • Google AdMob (rewarded ads)

Those services operate under their own terms, billing rules, and privacy policies.

10.2 Google Play. If you downloaded the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to Google Play’s Terms of Service at Google Play Terms. Google Play’s terms govern the relationship between you and Google. These Terms govern the relationship between you and Frau LLC.

10.3 Apple App Store. If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

  • These Terms are between you and Frau LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  • Frau LLC is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for the App.
  • In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, or claims arising under consumer protection or privacy laws.
  • In the event of a third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, Frau LLC is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

11) Availability, Updates, and Changes

Frau LLC may update the App to fix bugs, improve performance, add features, adjust balance, or change how platform services such as purchases, ads, or achievements are integrated. The App may be unavailable temporarily due to maintenance, platform outages, payment-service interruptions, or other technical issues.

We may change these Terms over time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12) Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". Frau LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the App will be error-free.

Some features may change or be discontinued.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frau LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you.

14) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, as modified, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.

The arbitration proceeding shall be conducted by a three-member tribunal in Omaha, Nebraska. The arbitrator’s award shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party bears its own attorney fees unless the arbitrator determines a claim was frivolous or brought in bad faith, in which case fees may be awarded to the prevailing party.

15) Termination

Frau LLC may suspend or terminate access to the App (or certain features) if you violate these Terms, or if required for legal or security reasons.
